review of a voice recorder from China

I ordered the item March 26 this year and got it
It is no more available but may reappear with
some changes.

About the shipping: Fedex an American company
did it.
3-7 days it would take it was promised but it took
14 days.

About the recorder: It is functioning but has one
shortcoming.
You press the recording button then you see a small
red light on top of the small screen, which should
indicate the device is recording. But it is not.
It takes another five seconds before the recording
starts.Then on the screen you see the seconds begin to
count.
I had already voice recorder from China and with them
when the red light went on the recording started which
was also considerably less than  five seconds.
 so
I can use it but considering the lack of ease of use which
was a reason to buy a voice recorder at all I am not
satisfied. It was cheap so I did not want to go through
the process of a complaint.

Chinese fool me the next time.


I had agreed with a seller that I send the item back because I could not use it for the purpose it was advertised for and I would get the money back,I had already opened a dispute about the problem.
I sent the item back gave the seller the tracking number and reported the dispute center about what I did. 
Today I was told by the dispute center that the dispute has been closed and the money released to the seller
I did not provide evidence for what I stated. So the statement was that I would have got the item and the tracking number of the seller was shown in their statement. My statement that I have sent the item back and the seller has the tracking number was ignored. The case is closed I cannot even answer to the complaint center. I did not provide evidence that I have sent the item back to the complaint center and the seller probably lied about it. But the complaint center just closed the case and did not give me the chance to provide evidence for my claims. So the complaint center is in doubt for the Chinese seller and supports to cheat customers.

One order from China did not arrive. I opened an dispute to protest against this. Now aliexpress finished my order and I did not get anything. The money I have paid in advance  for the device and which was withhold by aliexpress until the end of the dispute gets the seller I was not told about any discussion or progress about  the item  lost in transit. In other words aliexpress acts authoritarian and as a thief.

I bought a cheap smartphone on aliexpress. the shipping took 2 months. 2 months!!!
Well, that was also due to Malay postal service. The item was in Malaysia for some time.

I got it then noticed it was not as it appeared.

It has only one camera on the description is stated two.

It is stated in the description that the phone would have 256 MB RAM. But the phone comes just
with 46 MB RAM user accessible. 36 MB are used for applications it comes with. The rest is used
for the system.

I think when you read 256 MB RAM you cannot expect to get only 46 MB you can use for you.
I have a tablet with 256 MB RAM and have more than 150 MB left after I have programs installed.
I have some applications installed now and notice the phone slows down, which I attribute to the little
RAM available I notice the same on my tablet when I have too many apps installed.

You cannot add an account to the phone. I got repeatedly the popup on the phone.
The phone lacks security features necessary to add an account.

When you cannot add an account you cannot use android market, then you cannot text to speech which is not working when it arrives. You cannot have the conveniences of the android market and have to look for apk files of applications elsewhere, which is time consuming and many applications you don't get easily


Despite the shortcomings the phone is of use has some advantages like 3G and it is cheap.But I have to wait to see how long it will stand.
But the lying in advance about the phone  and the response to my claims angers me.
Finally I end up with something what I did not completely want . I wanted a second camera, which I ordered with the phone. I want to have enough RAM available to install enough apps without slowing the phone down. I want to use the android market. I asked the seller if he can help me with this. I got no response.

 I recommend:  Just stay away from this seller. Buy elsewhere.

The seller is not only lying but also not answering to my proposals and not answering to my demands.
I wanted another battery before the phone got shipped. The seller just ignored this and shipped the item.
I have made proposals during my claim that the phone is not as it is described. I did not get any response.
The seller just sticks to his lies that the phone is as described. Customer service: annoying!

On the other hand I had also other  Chinese seller of cheap phones just acting rather unfriendly when I  just asked repeatedly questions I was mocked or just ignored. When phones cost more the customer service seems to be more friendly and competent.

I made some smaller orders in China. But I am waiting
 for 5 weekne  now for them to come. I also cannot track
 them. I have a tracking number for all products I bought
 but none of these numbers are anywhere in the
tracking  system. Only one product arrived quickly. This
 I bought overpriced. When I 2 weeks after my purchase
 revisited websites of such products, I could have got mine
 30% cheaper. Is it by accident or not that only the overpriced
 product arrives at all.

I got an order from alibaba and used Escrow. I had problems and tried to open an dispute but the webform did not work. I pressed the submit button but it just did not work. So when the time allowed to make any claims is over it is more difficult to make claims. this time is over very soon with this order
